Library Summer Hours
South Graham library is open each Wednesday through August 5 from 2-4 pm for SGE students and families. Students may check out up to 5 library books at one time. All books checked out during the summer are due back before the first day of school.
Audiobooks
We have recently added 20 personal CD players and almost 100 audiobooks to our library collection. These are available for students in 2nd grade and older to check out in addition to checking out library books. We will soon add another 50 audiobooks to our collection.

Research has shown that children who listen to audiobooks and follow along in the book generally demonstrate an increase in both their vocabulary and reading comprehension skills. Please encourage your child to take part in this free service.
Leapfrogs for parent checkout
Parents
We have 30 Leapfrog machines and over 80 books to use on them available for you to check out for your child. Book topics include phonics, reading, math, science, history, music, and character education and range across all grade levels. This is a free program available to anyone with a student enrolled at South Graham Elementary. For more information, contact Barbara Kernodle at South Graham.
